WHERE DID THE TIME GO?
Before you read this post on my Blog, please allow me to apologize for taking so long to share a few words with you. It's just that ... well... please let me try to explain.
I am simply amazed at how time seems to fly by these days. But at the same time, realizing that time is a human invention created in give us a way to mark time as it were, makes it clear when one considers that almost all human inventions are finite. However, finite inventions notwithstanding, the illusion of time is offered to give us a point of reference that allows us to stay connected to a matrix that gives us a false sense of being, thereby lulls us into believing that “time” itself is a factual existing thing that can be measured in hours and minutes, days, years, past, present and futures.
There is also the concept of running out of time, or not having enough time. Particularly when time is the tool we use to measure how effective we are within the current Matrix of so-called Reality. From that point of reference we are without a doubt running out of time. This can be verified on any given day in time due to the fact that there simply is never enough time to do anything. Starting with; not enough time to sleep, to get up and prepare for the day, to complete our list(s) of ‘things to do’, to give attention to our loved ones, to fulfill our own personal agenda’s, to simply be present long enough just to take a deep breathe and smell the flowers, or watch the sun set, or take a leisurely walk along the promenade, not to exercise but just to simply be. Why is this so?
Have we so completely bought into the illusion that our contribution to the Matrix is so essential that if we do not perform within a timely fashion, no matter how scattered our schedules or how stressed we become, have we actually convinced ourselves that we must adhere to this madness of being in time. Or is it on time? Or before time? No it’s ON TIME! Of that I am certain. But more often than not, we don't have a clue as to what time it actually is at any given moment in time. But when we check to see what time it is, it’s always the same; there’s never enough. What to do?
Perhaps the idea of letting go and just being is far to radical a concept and would perhaps be judged irresponsible. But could there possibly be a choice in the matter that could be interpreted as being compliant while simultaneously allowing for a small semblance of freedom away from the shackles of time, away from the Matrix? And if so, what would that freedom look like? What would we call it?
Being Present
Meditating
Praying
Walking with no purpose
Daydreaming
Letting go
Yoga (and not for any reason other than just doing it)
Reading or writing
Being silent
Being alone
Playing an instrument (without any intention other than simply making music)
Just playing – as in frolicking about
Stargazing, etc.
The timeless list is endless because timelessness is infinite. Let me know how your timeless adventure turns out.
Oh yes and time for love.

Naimah,
This is so timely (no pun intended).
As I go down the list, it is all of the above. I just journaled this morning how so much of my earlier Life was about day dreaming. I asked, today - was it necessary for where I am now, or did I waste precious time? Deep down I think, yes, it was necessary for who I am and how I value Life now.
I make long lists and there is often not enough time to get to all tasks. But I do know that I must remember BALANCE and I must remember to let some of it go and just have FUN, some days, and let it be alright.

Very well explained: simple, elegant and with a beautiful cohesiveness that one wishes to be out of time just long enough to enjoy your writing before being thrust back into the ever-turning gears of our ticking illusion.
Thanks for sharing.
